Voice (Aaron St Louis) will go up against 11 contestants in the finals of the International Soca Monarch competition, which takes place on Fantastic Friday, 9 February 2018.

Funding constraints mean the prize money has been severely reduced this year, with a first prize of TT$300,000, second TT$150,000 and third TT$150,000. Last year, reigning Soca Monarch Voice received TT$1 million.

The competition will take place at the Queen’s Park Savannah, gates open at 8pm, showtime at 10pm (2am GMT).
