Kendal Torchlight Carnival is a fantastic, family friendly event that has been running for more than half a century! It has, since 1970, entertained and excited adults and children alike with its variety of amazingly creative Carnival Floats, Dancers, Bands and other processionists.
Kendal Torchlight Carnival attracts visitors from far and wide strengthening the Kendal economy by giving local business the opportunity to benefit from the thousands of people who line the streets year after year – in all weathers!!
In addition to the business benefits, the money so generously donated by the spectators is collected by local charities to benefit their good causes.
