A Lil Bit A Bim (Barbados Day) - Food, Culture, Cricket & Music

A Lil Bit of Bim is the flagship fundraiser of the NCBA.

It was launched in 2011 so that people of all ages can socialise and experience the traditions of Barbados. . It also provides a fun way of uniting all Barbadians with their heritage and culture by encouraging solid links to the island that will endure through the generations.

West Midlands locations were chosen to close the loop where Nationals north of the Watford gap can feel isolated from events in London. From its first location in Solihull until last year it was in Coventry, now on Jubilee weekend, we are moving to Draycott and Hanbury Cricket Club Knights Field Road Hanbury Burton on Trent Staffordshire

Activities on the day include, line dancing, food stalls, children’s entertainment, Carnival Band and Steelband music, including a 20/20 cricket match between the host Draycott Hanbury CC and a Barbadian team.This event has proven to be the ideal marketplace to purchase most Barbadian products in the UK.
