Jamaica Jazz & Blues

After a 5-year pause of the festival, organisers are finally bringing back The Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival to music lovers on the theme Bring back the Magic scheduled from Thursday 4 March to Saturday 6 March. 

This year, the virtual festival is presented by Steady Image Media Group & Entertainment who will use donations from the virtual festival to support workers in the entertainment industry whose source of livelihood have been badly affected by the coronavirus pandemic.  

Since it was first organised in 1996, Jamaica Jazz has hosted over 400 local and international acts including Celine Dione, Diana Ross, Michael Bolton, Lionel Richie, Kennie Rogers, Maroon 5 and many more. 

Some local and international confirmed acts for the 2021 3-night virtual festival are John Secada, Richie Stephens, Jah9, Sevana, Tessellated and Lila Ikè.

Pre-festival activities will include a band search, with winners taking the stage during one segment of the event.
