Trinidad and Tobago singer Nadia Batson has released Panorama Luv, a new soca single celebrating healthy relationships, love and emotional honesty. The song was released on 6 August and is accompanied by an official music video filmed in her hometown of Tunapuna.
Batson, who has written numerous songs that have become part of the Caribbean Carnival soundtrack, describes herself as “a lover girl” and says the track was inspired by a desire to highlight the positive side of love. She added that she has always enjoyed music that “positively feeds the soul”.
The video features locations familiar to residents of Tunapuna and includes appearances by members of Batson’s family, including her father. According to the singer, the project reflects her commitment to authenticity and personal expression.
With Panorama Luv, Batson delivers a reminder that soca can be as much about joy, vulnerability and connection as it is about Carnival.
