Sabrina and Snakey were crowned Groovy and Power Soca Monarch champions respectively when the 2026 Grenada Soca Monarch finals took place at the National Stadium, Queen’s Park, St George’s, on Friday 7 August, better known during Spice Mas as Bacchanal Friday.
Twelve artists competed in each category, including the reigning 2025 champions, as they battled for Grenada’s top soca honours before a packed crowd.
Sabrina claimed the Groovy Soca title ahead of Boyzie in second place, with Muddy securing third.
In the Power Soca competition, Snakey took the crown, while Muddy finished second and Lil Kerry placed third.
The annual Soca Monarch finals remain one of the flagship events of Grenada’s Spice Mas celebrations and one of the most anticipated nights on the carnival calendar.
