Saint Lucia has announced a new partnership with English rugby club Saracens, becoming the team’s Official Destination Partner ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The agreement marks the island’s first partnership with a rugby club and follows Saint Lucia’s recent tourism deal with Premier League side Arsenal, as the Caribbean destination continues to use sport to raise its profile in key international markets.
Under the partnership, Saint Lucia’s culture, heritage and tourism offerings will be promoted to Saracens supporters in the UK and around the world. The collaboration will also focus on youth development through the Saint Lucia Rugby Academy, creating opportunities for coaching, training and cultural exchange.
Both organisations say the partnership is built around shared values of community, development and excellence. Plans include initiatives aimed at supporting young rugby players while strengthening links between Saint Lucia and one of England’s most successful rugby clubs.
The announcement is the latest step in Saint Lucia’s sports tourism strategy, which has seen the island align itself with major sporting brands to boost international awareness and encourage visitor growth.
