Grammy Award-winning producer Seani B has teamed up with Trinidad-born, UK-based soca artist Triniboi Joocie for After Road (Amazon Music Original), a new collaboration released exclusively through Amazon Music as part of its +44 carnival season campaign.
The track combines soca and bouyon, the high-energy genre from Dominica that continues to grow in popularity across the Caribbean and beyond. Tailored for the carnival season, After Road delivers an energetic blend of both styles, highlighting the musical influences that have helped shape Caribbean road culture.
Triniboi Joocie, one of the UK’s leading soca ambassadors, has built a strong following through his performances, recordings and appearances on The Voice UK. The collaboration with Seani B adds another notable release to his growing catalogue ahead of Notting Hill Carnival.
The Amazon Music campaign also features reggae and dancehall star Shaggy, who will release an exclusive live performance of Lottery, the title track from his latest album. Fans will also be able to hear the Jamaican artist discuss 15 songs from his career, including Boombastic, Angel, In the Summertime and Oh Carolina, as part of a special track-by-track feature available through Amazon Music.
