Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer were together The Wailing Wailers, later known as Bob Marley and the Wailers. The Wailers 1973 inaugural album Catch A Fire heralded the then new sound of reggae.
The trio have recently been commemorated and celebrated by the instalment of a blue heritage plaque on the former Island Studios building in Basing Street, London W11. The installation ceremony was held on Friday, 4 October, with special guest and celebrated personalities in attendance.
