Bounty Rum returns to Notting Hill Carnival this year with a full programme of floats, after-parties, and nationwide events. In partnership with distributor Mangrove Global, the Saint Lucian brand is working alongside Xtreme Mas Band, Lagniappe Mas Band, and the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.
On Sunday 24 and Monday 25 August, Bounty will sponsor two carnival floats, fronted by Natanni St Omer, cultural ambassador and runner-up in Saint Lucia’s Queen of the Bands competition. Hundreds of revellers will join the floats, dressed in costumes designed by the two partner bands. Xtreme’s presentation is themed Pulse, while Lagniappe will bring Awakening Rebirth. Participants will enjoy food and Bounty Rum drinks along the parade route.
The celebrations extend beyond the parade. Bounty has joined forces with Padnas, a cocktail company with Saint Lucian heritage, to launch three limited-edition drinks available at padnas.co.uk. Across London, Bounty cocktails will be served in 10,000 specially branded cups carrying QR codes, offering a chance to win a trip to Saint Lucia.
Carnival after-parties take place at The Beachcomber Tiki Bar and Notting Hill Arts Club, featuring live performances. Bounty will also host events in Leicester at 33 Cank Street, Tonne Bar, and Crafty St Martins, with further activations planned in cities from Glasgow to Norwich.
“Each year for Notting Hill Carnival, our aim is to go bigger, bolder, and better,” said Bounty Brand Ambassador Ashera Goonewardene. “Bounty and Saint Lucia are entirely intertwined, and there really is no better place to celebrate that culture than at Carnival.”
