Terri Lyons, dazzling in white, emerged victorious at the finals of the National Calypso Monarch competition, winning against twelve talented contestants! Her captivating rendition of “Blessings” won over the audience, allowing her to take the title from last year’s monarch, Helon Francis.
The finals took place on Sunday 15 February at the Queen’s Park Savannah as part of the Dimanche Gras show. This victory marks Terri’s second title, having previously won in 2020.
As the winner, she received a prize of TT $1,000,000 and a KGM Korando Emotion car. Second place went to Rivaldo London, who received TT $500,000, while Rikki Jai secured third place with a prize of TT $350,000.
