About Carnival
Bath Carnival is an inclusive community project for children, young people and adults living in and around B&NES. A programme of creative performances, participation workshops and seminars, inspired by the annual theme explore art, dance, theatre, spoken word and music, blending carnival traditions and cultures.
Each year this culminates in a free carnival procession and free combined-arts festival. The carnival brings people together to conceive and deliver a celebration of culture, creativity, diversity and collaboration; exploring important issues as a community through artistic expression.
The annual event includes a range of free, fun festival themed activities for adults, children and families. As well as a great selection of live bands there's a carefully selected range of food and drinks stalls and interactive workshops. The party moves to one of Bath’s music venues for an official after party into the earlier hours.
