Caribbean music and food will be the heart of the Christmas Cookout, a festive event organised by Elite Sounds and Events. The evening function will feature DJs playing parang, soca, calypso, dub, and chutney, as you dance and enjoy delicious Caribbean cuisine. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of dishes from the southern Caribbean, including curry goat, stew chicken, red bean stew, macaroni pie, pumpkin talkari, callaloo, rice, paratha, curry duck, dhalpuri, and salad, with Caribbean cakes and treats available as well.
Entry is free, with food available at set prices: £12 for a small plate, £14 for an adult vegetarian plate and £18 for an adult plate. Food will be served until 10 pm, and pre-booking is available until 10 December.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 20 December 2025. It runs from 7 pm to 12:30 am at Fairlop Powerleague, Forest Road, Ilford IG6 3HX.
