Carib Brewery marked a significant milestone in early June 2025 with the official launch of Carib Lager Draught at a celebratory event held at the Trinidad & Tobago High Commission in London. The event, which took place on Thursday 5 June, featured live steelpan music, Caribbean cuisine and a ceremonial first pour to welcome the draught format to the UK market.
Previously available only in bottles, Carib Lager Draught is now being served on tap in select London venues, with broader distribution planned across the UK in the coming weeks. Brewed locally in the UK to Carib’s authentic recipe and quality standards, the draught lager maintains the crisp, golden profile for which the Caribbean brew is known.
At the launch, Adrian Sabga, Managing Director of International & Business Development, described the moment as a “significant accomplishment,” expressing pride in bringing “the refreshing taste of Carib Lager on draught to the UK” and celebrating 75 years of brewing tradition. Acting High Commissioner Urvashi Ramnarine called it “a cultural moment for our community,” noting how the new format brings “the sound, the taste, the vibe of home, now just a tap away”.
By confirming the expansion, a Carib spokesperson stated that the draught is expected to be rolled out to additional venues beyond London in the near future. In the meantime, you can order Carib Lager Draught at Limin Southbank and Turtle Bay Restaurants.
