Miss Bank of Saint Lucia, Emerle Tisson, was crowned the 2025 National Carnival Queen on Saturday 5 July at The Pavilion on Rodney Bay, following a dazzling display of talent, poise, and cultural pride. The first and second runners-up were Miss Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Tatiana Clovis Freitas, and Miss JP Chenet, Kertrina Oculi, respectively.
As in the 2024 edition, delegates competed for multiple awards in each category. ‘Best’ awards recognised the design and creativity of key elements such as costume, swimwear, and evening wear. In contrast, the ‘Best in’ awards celebrated how confidently and gracefully the delegates presented those elements on the stage.
The new queen will receive EC $25,000 cash prize, a complete bachelor’s degree scholarship from Monroe University, and a gift package from Lucille’s Garden.
The event was organised by the Carnival Planning and Management Committee, which has extended its gratitude to all delegates, sponsors, production teams, and supporters for making the pageant a success.
