Fay-Ann Lyons debut album soars into Billboard Reggae top 10 Three-time Soca Monarch champion, Fay-Ann Lyons released her debut album Break The World on Friday 3 March. The album was released by New York based VP records, and after strong first-week sales, Fay-Ann’s album has become the first album by any soca artist to enter the Billboard Reggae chart.

VP Records hopes that this success will continue the buzz around Fay-Ann’s work after what it has termed a “successful” carnival season. Fay-Ann was delighted with the warm reception that the album has received. She said “we are so happy with the first week results and we can’t wait to get out with the fans to support this album. It is a nice feeling to see my efforts to get my music and culture on a platform that the world acknowledges rewarded.”

Break The World features collaborations with Stonebwoy, Bunji Garlin and Joli Rouge Sound. There is production work by Richie Beretta, Static Sound Productions, Keron “Sheriff Mumbles” Thomas, Dwain Antrobus, Kevin Marshall, and Darien Bailey. The album features 16 tracks all of which are written by Fay-Ann Lyons. Break The World is now available to buy (£8.00 & £8.69) or stream on Amazon, iTunes and Spotify.
