Trinidadian songstress Jadel is taking her listeners on an auditory journey with her new album, Don’t Be Mistaken.

The album, a testament to the growth and depth in Jadel’s music and craft, features Demarco, Karlie Redd of Love and Hiphop fame in the USA, and Dancehall sensation Charly Black from Jamaica. Some of her tracks include Shake Up, Up In D Party, Garbage Day, Fire Body, Wa Yuh Doing, Messy, Addictive, and Deserve It All, which is her most-streamed music video to date with 7 million views.

In addition, Jadel has released visuals for selected tracks, including Wah Yuh Doin’, Fire Body and Calypso. This recent release beautifully encapsulates Trinidad and Tobago’s music, essence and culture.

She said the motivation behind her album is to avoid confusion and establish her distinct presence, identity, and musical style in the music industry after experiencing circumstances where fans and industry insiders mistakenly compared her and her works to other Caribbean artists.

Scheduled for release on Friday 29 March, Don’t Be Mistaken will be available for streaming and downloading on all major platforms. With her dancehall single Sidechick Season coming in March as well, Jadel is sure to earn a soft spot in listener’s hearts.
