The St. Kitts Tourism Authority officially announced The Wedge Boutique Hotel, a new boutique property slated to open in February 2027, as an addition to the island’s hospitality landscape.
The Wedge will feature 18 suites, divided evenly into nine two-bedroom and nine one-bedroom units. Each suite will include a fully equipped kitchen, smart home technology, and contemporary design touches. The property will also offer full hotel amenities, including daily housekeeping, room service, concierge, and front desk support.
Amenities will include a rooftop bar & lounge, on-site parking, and seven ground-level commercial spaces intended as a retail promenade of cafés, boutiques, and duty-free shops.
The hotel’s location on Zenway Boulevard, Frigate Bay, places guests within walking distance of Frigate Bay Marina, restaurants, and the famous beach bars of “The Strip”. The property also offers easy access to beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island.
Kelly Fontenelle, CEO of the Tourism Authority, said the concept addresses the growing demand for accommodation that “feels like home while delivering elevated hospitality.” Owner Hamir Sabnani emphasised that the design aims to attract experiential travellers seeking authenticity.
British Airways operates two direct (non-stop) flights each week from London Gatwick Airport (in the UK) to St. Kitts.
With this development, St. Kitts continues to strengthen its positioning as a versatile destination combining comfort, innovation and local charm.
