Shadiamond Assanah, representing Guyana, has been crowned Miss Caribbean Culture Queen 2025, marking an unprecedented third consecutive win for Guyana at the regional pageant. The competition took place on Monday 4 August in Nevis, as part of the Nevis Culturama Festival.
Assanah topped a field of ten contestants from across the Caribbean and was also awarded Best Evening Gown for her striking blue mermaid-style gown paired with a dramatic cape. First runner-up was Sherquanya Jeffers of Nevis, while Tanisha Balson of Dominica placed second runner-up.
Other delegates included Miss St Kitts (Danekia Dickenson), Miss Antigua & Barbuda (Kia Kirwan), Miss St Lucia (Anneka Thompson), Miss Turks & Caicos (Jennie Louis), Miss Dominica (Tanisha Balson), Miss Belize (Jahmea Bent), Miss SVG (Zada Stephens), and Miss USVI (Markeymah Cargile).
The Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant 2025 was hosted at the Culturama Festival Grounds in Nevis, featuring judged segments across swimwear, evening gown, talent, and cultural expression. Assanah also delivered standout performances in the swimwear round, donning a bold red and navy bikini that earned widespread admiration.
Her victory was met with enthusiastic acclaim across Caribbean social media, with fans praising her confidence, bold beauty and alluring personality and celebrating Guyana’s continued dominance in the regional competition.
