The 24th edition of the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF) will be held from Friday, 25 to Sunday 27 October, at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Dominica.

The festival officially launched on Saturday 22 June, promises three nights of rhythms and diverse musical genres, with an impressive lineup of international and regional stars.

This year’s lineup includes Jamaican dancehall star Valiant, soca sensation Nadia Batson, and the legendary group Kassav. It also includes performances by Signal Band, Skinny Fabulous, Voice, Rotimi, Tian Winter, Midnight Groovers, Ridge and Pudaz, and Gramps Morgan, Duane Stephenson, and Luciano.

Denise Charles Pemberton, the Tourism Minister, emphasized the festival’s increasing global popularity, crediting its success to returning patrons and new visitors eager to experience Dominica’s culture, Bouyon music, and exceptional entertainment. She also expressed deep gratitude to the government of Dominica, the headline sponsor, for their substantial investment of approximately $12 million, which will significantly boost the local economy.

The 2024 World Creole Music Festival is supported by key sponsors, including Belfast Estate, HHV. Whitchurch, The Realm, Petro Caribe, and Arden Sounds and Lights.
