The Tabernacle, home of Carnival Village

The Tabernacle reopens with a new look

|

The Tabernacle, in the heart of Ladbroke Grove, was built in 1888 as an evangelical Christian church. Now for many years serving as a multi-purpose arts and culture venue, the building has been closed since 25 February this year due to covid-19 restrictions. Doors will open again from Monday 17 May, in line with the Government covid-19 safety measures.

Now home to the Notting Hill Carnival, within whose footprint it sits, the Tabernacle also houses a restaurant serving a great variety of well-priced snacks and meals. From the pictures and videos we’ve seen, it seems like the Tabernacle will also have a brand-new look when it reopens.

Get ready to join community activities at the Tabernacle when it begins operating, from Monday to Saturday. You can hire a space at The Tabernacle.
