Grenadian rising star V’ghn, known as Grenada’s Bad Boy of Soca, will take the spotlight in London for his first-ever live acoustic performance on Tuesday 19 August 2025. The event will launch his brand-new EP, Point of View and promises an intimate, music-filled evening with V’ghn and friends.
V’ghn has been building a name for himself across the Caribbean and beyond with hits like Trouble in the Morning, Heart of Carnival featuring MSK MuSik, Trinidad Sweet with Voice, and his latest, Jab Decision. In May, he was hosted by DJ Agonline at the O2 Greenwich, where he performed Explore and a brand new song featuring Not3s. A snippet of the performance was shared on TikTok by DJ Agonline, generating buzz ahead of his upcoming London showcase.
In 2025, V’ghn signed a 10-song deal with EGA Distro Ltd, a London-based label under Virgin Records, after years of independently producing and distributing his music. He’s the first Caribbean artist to be named a WIPO Ambassador and is a member of ECCO, which helps protect his work across the region. As a songwriter, he’s penned hits for Nadia Batson, Blaxx, Skinny Fabulous, and Konshens, often asking only for credit, not payment.
The show is scheduled to take place at 229 Great Portland Street on Tuesday 19 August, starting at 7pm. Please note, this is an 18+ event. Tickets are available from Dice and start from 33.00. The Point of View EP is set to show a more personal side of V’ghn. Fans in London can expect soulful storytelling, live vocals, and surprise guest appearances.
