His Excellency Vishnu Dhanpaul has started his official duties as High Commissioner for Trinidad and Tobago in the United Kingdom. He took up the post on 21 October and will be based at the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission, 42 Belgrave Square, London SW1.
Dhanpaul’s previous positions include Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Chairman of the Chaguaramas Development Authority, the Agricultural Development Bank, the National Investment Fund and the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago. He has also served as Commissioner of the T&T Securities and Exchange Commission.
The new High Commissioner says is committed to boosting trade and investment relations between the United Kingdom and Trinidad and Tobago during his term of office.
