About

London All Stars Steel Orchestra is an authentic multi-award winning Steelband founded by Mr Frank Rollock. Coming from a diverse musical background with his seven children all playing musical instruments, the London All Stars was formed in 1974 under Frank’s musical direction. Mr. Rollock has made countless contributions to the advancement of the Steelband Movement in the UK including organising Brixton's first carnival, introducing 'pan' to schools and co-founding the first Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) Steel Orchestra, the London Brotherhood of Steel, the Steelband Association of Great Britain and BAS (British Association of Steel) to name but a few. London All Stars have been invited to share the sweet melody of steelpan and their musical talent all over the world, performing in countries such as New Zealand (The 1990 Commonwealth Games), Germany (Stamp festival), Holland, Malta, France, Hong Kong, Qatar, Italy, Israel and many more. The London All Stars enjoys a solid reputation as one of Britain’s best steelband under Frank’s directorship. They have also won a multitude of awards and are proud to be known as the undefeated Jouvert Champions, winning the annual steelpan competition 8 times since 2004.
