Chef Dom Taylor’s Good Front Room – 12 Days of Christmas Supper Club

|

Released Date

After winning Netflix’s Five Star Chef in 2023 and hosting a sold out 10 month residency at The Langham, Chef Dominic Taylor has been on a mission to present his modern take on classic Caribbean dishes across London. As one of London’s most prolific Caribbean chefs, he is bringing back the ‘Good Front Room’ concept, but this time, for Christmas. His time at the Langham proved highly popular due to his innovative take on classic Caribbean dishes. Now he’s hosting a festive pop-up rooted in the traditions and heritage common in many British Caribbean households, with an elevated twist.

On the menu, guests can expect dishes such as Plantain and Chestnut Soup, Jerk Chicken and Plantain Jam, Herb roasted Turkey Porchetta style, his famous Curry Goat and a mix of Caribbean inspired cocktails and rum punch to accompany the meal. Taylor says, “For me, this run is personal. It’s about creating a room that feels like warmth, celebration and shared heritage, with modern Caribbean food at the centre of it.” To create a truly immersive atmosphere, Taylor is featuring artwork by Caroline Chinakwe, whose work was also displayed at the Langhan, to add cultural depth and a contemporary edge to the space.

The pop-up is already proving popular, with around 75% of tickets selling in the first three days since it was announced. The Christmas Supper Club runs from the 5th to the 22nd of December, and also on Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day, at a location in Dalston. The price is £85 per person for a set three-course menu.
