14 Participants set to compete for the title of Sugar Mas 52 Road March Champion.
The St. Kitts & Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC) has released 32 songs from 14 Road March contenders ahead of Sugar Mas 52.
The tracks enjoyed airplay on at least two radio stations before the deadline, which was Friday 17 November, to showcase the musical prowess of the islands’ talents.
In line with the SKNNCC’s commitment to excellence and community engagement this year, the policy to release songs five weeks before the Road March judging at J’Ouvert has been successfully implemented.
The organisers have indicated that a new dimension will be introduced in the competition during the Grand Parade on Monday 1 January; the Road March promises to be an exciting spectacle.
The contenders include a diverse array of artists and bands, each contributing to the Sugar Mas soundscape, and the judging process begins on Tuesday 26 December 2023 and ends on Monday 1 January 2024.
Sugar Mas 52 is scheduled from Friday 15 December 2023, to Tuesday 2 January 2024.
