Head south for Guyanese day

All Guyanese and their friends are invited to a picnic in the park on Saturday 5 August.

Hosted by well-known south London-based DJ Emron, the event takes place from 12.30 to 5.30pm at the David Weir Leisure Centre, Middleton Road, Carshalton SM5 1SL. Guyana’s High Commissioner Hamley Case will be in attendance.

Bring your food, bring your cooler and enjoy a relaxing day among friends and family. Stalls will be selling Guyanese food, crafts, achar and shaved ice. Those with a competitive streak can take part in cricket matches, children’s races and that ferocious sport, dominoes. Emron will be sharing the turntable with Digital D and T21Sweetboyz.

Entry with wristband is £5 (12 years old and under free) and car parking £2. Nearest bus routes are the 280 (Tooting-Sutton) and S1.
