A major highlight this month is the TASPO 75th Anniversary Festival at London’s Southbank Centre, taking place from 24–26 July. Celebrating 75 years since the Trinidad All-Steel Percussion Orchestra (TASPO) introduced steelpan to Britain, the weekend features performances, talks, workshops and large-scale steelband showcases, bringing together hundreds of musicians from across the UK.
