The third annual Miss Barbados UK competition took place on Saturday 6 May, and saw the crowning of a new queen. Milan Carrington-Gomes beat five other contestants to be crowned Miss Barbados UK 2017. She will reign for a year, taking over from last year’s winner, Sheree Miller.
Carrington-Gomes not only took the crown on the night, but also earned the titles of Miss Picture Perfect, Miss Fitness, Miss Twilight, Top Talent, and Most Outstanding Delegate from the Heritage Quiz Night.
Placing second was Kyra Durant, and Zania Linton took third.
