Piton Beer is thrilled to announce the return of Piton Soca Starz, Saint Lucia’s premier soca talent competition, just in time to energise Carnival 2025.
Launched in 2010, the competition quickly became a cultural phenomenon, showcasing rising stars like Mongstar, Shemmy J, Nerdy, and Mighty. It was a highlight of Carnival for six years, uncovering talent and electrifying audiences throughout the island.
Due to popular demand, Piton Soca Starz is back in 2025—refreshed, reimagined, and ready to reignite the stage. “This relaunch honours a legacy that transformed Saint Lucian music,” said Lyla Jean Baptiste, Brand Manager for Piton Beer. “We’re proud to revive this iconic platform and bring the vibes back to our communities.”
This year’s winner will be crowned Piton Soca Starz 2025 and will receive an artist support package valued at XCD $20,000, which includes production for a song and a music video. More than just a prize, it serves as a launchpad for emerging talent and a celebration of Saint Lucian sound.
