Award-winning Caribbean-American author Carole Boyce Davies who has specialised in writing about the African Diaspora and black women will be launching the newest addition to her collection of books Black Women’s Rights: Leadership and the Circularities of Power.
Professor Carole is known for works including Left of Karl Marx: The Political Life of Claudia Jones (2008), and Claudia Jones: Beyond Containment and has also edited numerous anthologies in Caribbean and African literature.
The book launch will take place tomorrow Thursday 6 April at New Beacon Books, 76 Stroud Green Road, London, N4 3EN, tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.
