Trinidad Carnival 2024 Welcomes You Home

The National Carnival Committee (NCC), on Saturday 4 November, launched Trinidad Carnival 2024, dubbed Come Back Home, at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.

The event marks significant occasions woven into the fabric of Trinidad and Tobago’s heritage, spotlighting several cultural and music displays by renowned artists.

The launch emphasised the need to revert the carnival to its authentic heritage and underscored the significance of community engagement during the festival.

Also, the Chairman of the National Carnival Commission (NCC), Winston “Gypsy” Peters, expressed his confidence in a large turnout of revellers for next year’s carnival as the organisation has been promoting the event globally and believes their distinct carnival elements will attract droves of carnival goers come February 2024.

The launch featured performances by some of the big names in soca, including Benjai, Chucky, Nadia Batson, MX Prime, Lil Bitts, Nailah Blackman, Shal Marshall, Voice, Patrice Roberts, Alison Hinds, Destra, Lyrikal, Ronnie McIntosh and Superblue.
