|

Released Date

The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) is hosting Carnival in the City today, Friday 7 November 2025, at the Brian Lara Promenade in Port of Spain. The event runs from 9 am to 6 pm and begins the 100-day countdown to the official proclamation of Trinidad and Tobago Carnival on 16 to 17 February 2026.

There will be workshops, exhibitions, and a mini concert featuring the Republic Bank Exodus Steel Orchestra. Local vendors will offer food, drinks, and handmade crafts for sale.

A special Children’s Zone will be mounted, where students can join the Love Letter to Carnival project by writing what they love most about carnival. Their messages will form a mural that will be displayed at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah, during carnival 2026 in February.
