One of the UK's oldest and most celebrated regional carnivals, Leicester's vibrant festival has been thrilling crowds since 1985. Taking place on Saturday 2 August 2025, the carnival features a spectacular street parade through the city centre, followed by a full day of festivities in Victoria Park.

Expect a dazzling procession with elaborate costumes, energetic masquerade bands, and the infectious sounds of steelpan and soca. The park celebration includes multiple music stages showcasing headline acts, DJs, and local performers, along with cultural displays, food stalls serving authentic Caribbean cuisine, a funfair, arts and crafts, and a dedicated family zone.

This year's event marks the 40th anniversary of Leicester Caribbean Carnival—promising a memorable celebration of heritage, diversity, and unity in the heart of the Midlands.
