Antigua and Barbuda marks its 41st year of independence today Tuesday 1 November 2022.
On this day in 1981 – now the National Day of Antigua and Barbuda the twin-island state gained its independence from the United Kingdom.
Today also marks the launch of Antigua Airways, whose inaugural flight took off from Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Lagos, Nigeria yesterday, Monday 31 October and will land today at the V.C. Bird International Airport.
