Trinidad’s Viking of Soca, Bunji Garlin, has finally released his tik tok hit on his new YouTube channel. Trini Lingo was published on Bunji’s YouTube channel on 19 May 2021.
The soca megastar had international hitmakers and collaborators Stadic and Johnny Blaze to cook this banger off their Freestyle Riddim. Trini Lingo started as a #stadicfreestylechallenge on tik tok but has blown up into a viral sensation.
The freestyle challenge won a feature on BET Music’s page after Bunji released his Trini Lingo input to the riddim.
The lyrics are tailored with pride and patriotism as Viking unapologetically flaunts his love for Trinidad and Trini slang.
