Caribbean Airlines, which was scheduled to next month increase its fleet by the inclusion of the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, will now delay in doing so. The conclusion to pause the process was drawn in the wake of two of the aircraft crashing, in Ethiopia and Indonesia.
The decision was confirmed by Communications Manager for the airline, Dionne Ligoure, who said, “Caribbean Airlines’ international aviation consultants, attorneys and management are closely monitoring the situation and will take the required steps to continue to safeguard the airline, its customers and employees.”
