DJ Puffy (aka Andre Parris) out of Barbados has built not just a loyal fan base at home but also an international following for his skilful, innovative mixes and his distinctive Caribbean-EDM sound. Fans can follow his Prime Time mix tapes with their eclectic mixes of new music from around the world, and his regular slot on Barbados radio station Slam 101.1.FM.
Known for playing to suit the energy of a crowd, and throwing in a surprise or two into the mix, he covers a wide range of genres from soca and reggae to hip hop and mainstream. The 2016 World Champion of the Red Bull Thre3style DJ competition, he’s greatly admired by other DJs and has become an influential leader in his field.
He’s performed for the likes of Rhianna and Amber Rose, opened for acts like Omarion and is a favourite on the international Carnival circuit, playing at the New York Labor Day Parade, Miami and Notting Hill Carnivals.
DJ Puffy will be at the Get Mad Fest alongside live performances from Shenseea, Motto and the Voice on Saturday 25 August at 229 The Venue, 229 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PN.
