The Guyana Diaspora Sustainability and Investment Conference, seeks to provide opportunities to diaspora groups through local partnerships in Guyana and London-based Chambers of Commerce, facilitated by government officials and Guyanese knowledgeable about the Guyana investment landscape.
Taking place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November at London’s Kensington Conference and Events Centre, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experts in various fields and celebrate the rich culture of Guyana.
Speaking about the event, Chairman David F. Roberts told Soca News, “Whether you’re looking to expand your professional network, learn about business opportunities or establish business partnerships with investors in Guyana, this Conference is for you.”
Supported by the Guyana Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference is focused on the global Guyanese diaspora in terms of theme, speaking agenda and extra conference activities.
Roberts added, “With the advent of Oil and Gas exploration in 2015 Guyana’s economy is on track to be the fastest growing on earth. This type of transition requires vision, discipline, and a commitment to transparency to ensure ALL Guyanese feel they are equally entitled to the new wealth coming out of their nation’s ground”.
