Following the carnival launch on Friday 25 November, Mas Domnik held its opening ceremony, dubbed ‘Mas An Lawi’, a full-blown display of Dominican carnival heritage. The ceremony – powered by Multi-Solutions Inc. – was held as a street parade from Victoria Street to the Windsor Park Sports Stadium on 14 January.
Some significant events slated to be held during Mas Domnik 2023 are Miss Dominica Teen Pageant 2023, Junior Calypso Competition, Grand Bay Carnival Village, Annual Souce and Punch, Lumi Nation, Carni Mas and Children’s Carnival 2023.
