In a dream come true, Trinidadian music artist Melly Rose has just shot her maiden TV commercial. The bold and multi-talented singer and performer relished the opportunity to be on camera, especially in the beautiful South African landscape.
Melly’s music is a medley of different genres, including afrobeats, soca and pop. Her style has amassed a large audience of fans at home and abroad; she has performed in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Dubai, and the USA.
Melly has previously won an award at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, and was this year nominated for the Best New Artist of the year at the 2023 Caribbean Music Awards; she was saddened to have had to miss the ceremony for the latter due to the pre-arranged filming schedule in South Africa.
With all these accomplishments under her belt, Melly is well on her way to building an increasingly impressive music career.
