Miss Caribbean UK entry deadline extended, and age limit raised

|

Time is running out to enter this year’s Miss Caribbean UK (MCUK). You (or someone you know), have until Saturday 1 June 2024, to secure your spot in this incredible journey. The competition, which celebrates its tenth year, has increased the entry age to thirty-five.

MCUK was set up as an event to promote all the different Caribbean countries under one umbrella. It uses the pageant to promote, educate, inspire and celebrate the historical and cultural impact of the Caribbean within the United Kingdom. The pageant was created to inspire, by example, those who feel disadvantaged and to empower them by showing them that beauty is more than skin deep.

Eshiva Wright, the 2023 winner, said, “In this moment, I feel electric! The vibrations are incredibly high, and I’m super proud to positively promote the Caribbean from now on until next year. Here we come, UK, here we come, Jamaica.
