|

Released Date

Trinidad and Tobago remains the heart of the world’s dominant Carnival, drawing revellers from across the globe. As the season’s excitement builds, one promotional team is determined to exceed the high expectations of carnival lovers everywhere.

The Johnny Q Sound Company will host Monday Madness at Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain on February 24th, promising one of the season’s most significant events. The star-studded lineup will feature the King of Soca, Machel Montano, alongside a host of top Soca talent, including Patrice Roberts, Lyrikal, Nadia Batson, Mical Teja, Ravi B, Nailah Blackman, Skinny Fabulous, and Voice. According to a spokesperson, “Carnival should evoke a certain energy. While it’s still alive, we believe Monday Madness will fill the gap just one week before Carnival Monday.”

Known across the Caribbean for delivering massive events, Johnny Q is well-equipped for this challenge. “Soca is in our blood as Trinbagonians. This year, we’re offering an authentic experience of our culture at the Oval on February 24th. We’re working with some of the biggest names in Soca to create something special,” they said.

Tickets are selling fast, with options to suit all budgets. The event offers General, Stage Front, and Big Truck VIP zones. The Big Truck Party Zone features an elevated deck and VIP areas for groups and die-hard fans, while tickets range from $850 to $1500. The $850 tickets include food and a cash bar, while the $1500 tickets are all-inclusive. VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive entrances, VIP restrooms, and ample space to party. Stage Front tickets, priced at $600, provide an up-close view of the action.

Doors open at 7pm, and the organisers promise one of the season’s largest and most exciting carnival fetes. “Our events are a preview of what’s to come for the carnival season,” the spokesperson explained. “It’s important for tourists to experience the best of Trinidad’s carnival so they’ll return and share their unforgettable memories.”

This year, Johnny Q is also introducing The Evolution Band, a group of young musicians they’ve invested in and The A Team Band to add even more energy to the night.

With ticket sales already booming, Monday Madness is set to be one of the most talked-about events of the season. For more details, visit @mondamadnesstt on Instagram and Facebook or to book your ticket at islandetickets.com.
