Themed Nothing Sweeter Than That, Saint Lucia Carnival is promising a full schedule of events in July 2023.
If you want to enjoy the full carnival experience, you’ll need to head out in the last week of June, as the first event is the National Carnival Queen Pageant on Saturday 1 July, followed on Sunday by Junior Carnival. National Soca Monarch, Calypso Finals and Panorama take place on Friday 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July, respectively. On Monday 10 July the spotlight is turned on King and Queen of the Bands.
After a week packed with fetes – from breakfasts and brunches to blockos and boat rides – we reach the climax of Saint Lucia Carnival on Monday 17 July (including J’ouvert, of course) and Tuesday 18 July. You can wind down (or, if you’ve still got the energy, wine down) at the beach party on Wednesday afternoon!
