Teddyson John has carved a name for himself in the world Caribbean music and has an enthusiastic following.
Teddyson was born and raised in a devout Christian family in Castries, Saint Lucia. From a young age, his talent and craft were nurtured in the church and he developed a lasting passion for playing drums, bass guitar and keyboards. He began his career in soca in 2007.
His 2015 single Allez helped bring him into the spotlight in the Caribbean region and beyond. He has shared the stage with many notable international artistes, including Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, George Duke, John Legend, Michael Bolton, Air Supply, New Edition, Keith Sweat, Neyo, Shaggy and Brick and Lace.
In 2019, Teddyson was featured on the late Blaxx’s soca anthem Just So.
Teddyson’s current discography includes Sink In Ya Back featuring Cooyah on the Chicken and Rice Riddim, Howdy (2022) and Gyal Go (2022).
On Thursday 23 June he released his newest music video Together, a collaboration between himself and Gyles.
His fans can expect to be thrilled at his next concert, U10 (U4RIA), which is scheduled for Thursday 14 July at Pigeon Island National Landmark, Saint Lucia.
