Released Date

As Trinidad and Tobago Carnival drew to a close, Vincymas ambassadors pitched tent at various venues to engage with revellers. The promotional programme was organised by St Vincent and the Grenadines’ Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) to showcase the country’s diverse traditions and music.

Between 6 and 13 February, this promotional roadshow was led by marketing and development officer Esworth Roberts, who appeared in interviews on numerous radio and television shows. The Vincentian visitors were also featured in print and online media outlets.

Roberts’ team set up booths at popular events, including the all-inclusive Brunch & Soca and Carnival grand parades on Monday and Tuesday. Carnival-goers had the opportunity to take photos with Vincymas ambassadors and preview samples of products from St Vincent and Grenadines. The promo drive included giveaways and engagement sessions to inform audiences about Vincymas 2024. Visitors in the booths could also scan a QR code and gain access to the official Vincymas website and social media pages.
