Trinidadian soca singer Aaron St Louis, known by his stage name ‘Voice’, has risen rapidly to become one of the big names in Caribbean music. His debut tune Cheers to Life, released at the end of 2015, was a huge crowd favourite for Trinidad Carnival 2016. When he was crowned Soca Monarch that year, he became the youngest winner in the competition’s history. Since then, he’s repeated his win twice to hold the International Soca Monarch title for three consecutive years. Last year he brought us the sensual Get Away with Bad Royale, the much anticipated power-groovy track We Doh Play with Kerwin du Bois, Far From Finished and Outside.
This year’s tunes include the reflective and conscious Year for Love, Perfect World and soulful Full of Vibe with Marge Blackman. Voice continues to focus on creating year-round music, with uplifting messages of positivity to inspire us all.
He will be performing at the Get Mad Fest on 25 August at 229 The Venue, 229 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PN.
