Trinidadian soca artist Yung Bredda (Akhenaton Lewis) released his debut album, titled 3/10,at a launch at Woodford Cafe, Price Plaza, in Chaguanas, Trinidad, on 3 October.
Bredda began his journey singing zess music before transitioning into soca with Viral, Feel It Scorpion and Talk True. The 13 tracks on 3/10, his debut album, include To The Top, Birthday Sex, Shake Shake Shake, Trampoline, Ambience and Heaven On Earth.
The songs on the album span a wide range of genres, from soca, Afrobeats and reggae to Latin urbano and pop.
The date of 3/10’s release, Tuesday 3 October, is Yung Bredda’s birthday. The album is available to be streamed and downloaded on all major platforms.
