Classorama is an annual school steelband competition, now in its fourth year. As one of the organisers, the Steel Pan Trust boldly brought it to a field in High Wycombe, hired a big top circus tent and some fun rides for the pupils, and challenged themselves to create a festival atmosphere. And what a success it was, with 13 schools participating.

They appreciated the outdoor location, the event having taken place in a large theatre in Kilburn for the past two years. The secondary school champion was Kingsdale Foundation School for a third time, with their pan tutor Marlon Hibbert, also manager of Endurance Steel Orchestra
