On a mild November night in London, a selection of media representatives, hotel and trade partners, guests, and Saint Lucia Ambassador, 100-meter gold and 200-meter silver Olympic medalist at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Julien Alfred, gathered at the 12th Knot Rooftop Bar near Blackfriars, overlooking the Thames.

We were there for one thing: the launch of the 2026 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival. The event, hosted by Tony Minvielle, featured performances by Boo Hinkson and Christa Bailey.  We were also kept well fed and watered by a selection of ordeurs and a generous bar.

Three acts have been confirmed for next year’s Jazz &Arts Festival, which will take place from April 30 to May 10, 2026. The confirmed performers include Beverley Knight, Tems, and Boo Hinkson, with more names set to be revealed in January.

Beverley Knight, who made an appearance on the night, expressed her joy at performing at the festival, which will be her first time participating.
